FAQ
When do I pay you?
At time of booking, I require a 50% security deposit to book your date to reduce last minute cancellations. The remaining balance for a wedding is due 2 weeks prior to the event + for non-weddings the remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot.
Now more than ever, my time is valuable, especially with being a mom who also has a full time job. As a reminder, by booking a photographer, there’s so much more that goes into this investment than just clicking a button on a camera, such as, drive time, prep, equipment and hours upon hours of editing each shoot. Whether you are a family member, existing friend or a new friend, please be respectful of this service just like you would be of your hair stylist, nail tech, lawn service or plumber.
Photos will not be released until payment has been made.
My wedding day is longer than 10 hours, how much for each additional hour?
For each additional hour, there is a $250 charge.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Of course! I have a severe case of wanderlust! Just say when + where and I am there!
Fun Fact: I had a destination wedding in Moab, UT.
Will there be a second shooter?
If you would like a second shooter, there is an additional fee. Please reach out for more information.
What kind of gear do you use?
Sony A7III + Sony A7II (85 MM, 35 MM, 50 MM, 28-70 MM)
- Dual Memory Card for your peace of mind
+ You may see me with my Nikon back up camera
What else should I know?
Please be courteous when rescheduling/cancelling last minute. I understand wholeheartedly that life happens. I can assist with helping coordinate locations and outfits, if need be. Give me your vision + I will do everything in my power to make it become a reality.
Update: As of Nov 1, 2025 - No longer offering mini session rates. All sessions will be a minimum of $150.00 (depending on the session).
How long will it take to receive my photos?
Sneak Peek: 24-48 Hours
Full Non-Wedding Gallery: Up to 3 weeks
Full Wedding Gallery: Up to 6 weeks
I try my best to deliver your galleries as soon as possible. I will update you with any potential delays. I do have a full time job outside of photography, as well as a beautiful baby girl that needs her mama. I edit in the windows of my day whether that is lunch, nap time or after my little one goes to bed.
I do not see the type of shoot I am looking for. Will do you do other types of shoots?
Absolutely! Feel free to ask + I will see what I can do to assist.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Absolutely not! Once I send you your gallery, you are welcome to download, save and print your photos. Please let me know if you need a print release and I will provide you with one.
What is one of your dream shoots?
I would absolutely love to capture a birth in the hospital. First 48 shoots are one of my favorites. There is nothing more raw, genuine or captivating than the first moment's of a child's life. As a mom, that is a shoot that I wish I had. The photos I do have are ones that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
